History was made at the new Flin Flon Skatepark this past Saturday.

Flin Flon hosted the Norman Skateboard and BMX Championships for the first time ever.

39 athletes competed in the events and well over 300 people watched over the course of the day, packing the stands.

Skateboarding 12 and under- Jared Brown (FF) 2nd, Stephen Moran(FF) 3rd.

BMX- 12 and under- Corbin Collier(FF) 1ST, Aidan Chrisp Parsons(Creighton) 2nd, Rylan Potkonjak(FF) 3rd.

13-17- Alex Clarke(FF) 3rd.
