Taylor New Voice Of Blue Bombers

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have announced their successor for the new voice of the football club to replace local legend Bob Irving.

 

The Blue Bombers and 680 CJOB announced that Derek Taylor will move to Wiinipeg from their arch rivals the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

 

Taylor, has been the voice of the Riders the last 3 years after 10 years working for TSN and Fox Sports World Canada.

 

Bob Irving retired at the end of last season after a half century calling Blue Bomber games on CJOB and he also called games for the CFN Television Network.

 

Taylor has experience and ties to Manitoba as he was the voice of the Manitoba Bisons for a 9 year stretch which included their Vanier Cup Championship in 2007.
