PLSC AGM Highlights

Due to Covid, the Phantom Lake Soccer Club has not been able to hold a season the past couple of years.

They are starting to put things into place to make sure that kids will be able to get back on the field and start playing once again.

The PLSC held their AGM virtually last night and here are the highlights from last night's meeting:

  • PLSC was given provisional approval for Canada Soccer Licensing Program as a Quality Soccer Program (QSP).  This keeps the club in good standing with MSA and outlines best practices for youth soccer in this country.  We will be implementing their recommendations in the 2022 season.

  • Despite a generous effort by the board, the 2021 season was canceled due to covid and provincial border restrictions.  Summer programming was not seen as an option.

  • Manitoba Winter Games were canceled in early fall due to covid restrictions.  Saskatchewan Winter Games canceled in early winter due to covid restrictions.

  • Work has continued with meetings with MSA including potential North-Westman Tournaments, Club and Coaching Culture, and potential pathways for player development in PLSC and the north.
