Congratulations to the Flin Flon Bombers Gabriel Shipper who has committed to play for the Bowdin College Polar  Bears who play in the NCAA Division 3.

The Polar Bears are located in Brunswick Maine and are members of the NESCAC Conference. The Polar Bears were back to back NESCAC Conference Champions in 2013 and 14.

Shipper is very excited about the opportunity. “My goal was always to play hockey and attend a school known for it’s rigorous education. Aside from being one of the best liberal arts schools in the country, I really felt a sense of belonging during my tour of Bowdoin. All aspects of the campus such as the athletic, academic, and housing facilities were incredible. I’m very excited for the opportunity and would like to thank everyone that has been a part of my journey.”

Shipper is one of the fastest and most exciting players in the SJHL and currently has 14 points including 5 goals.
