Kodiaks Hand Out Awards

The Creighton Kodiaks officially wrapped up their season last night with their awards banquet at the Creighton Community Hall.

 

A big thanks to Rockyview BNB for donating and preparing a delicious meal.

 

Among the highlights included a slide presentation from Head Coach Ryan Karakochuk featuring all the big moments from the season.

 

Head Coach Karakochuk also thanked the other coach's Ryan Biberdorf, Chad Trumbley, Haiden Lengyel Kanto, Brady Carmichael, Hayden Biberdorf and Manager Mandy Patterson.

 

There was also a special send off for the 6 graduating players including: Davin Eastman, Austin Harrower, Myles Patterson, Brenden Haley, Noah Olivier and Kole Slugoski.

Most Improved- Marcus Kennedy

 

Rookie Of The Year- Jordan Gorrell

 

Most Dedicated- Davin Eastman

 

Leadership- Myles Patterson

 

Courage- Caleb Jansen

 

Warriors Of The Year- Offense- Noah Olivier and Defense- Brenden Haley

 

Special Teams- Myles Patterson

 

Defensive Player Of The Year- Brenden Haley

 

Offensive Player Of The Year- Noah Olivier

 

Head Coach Ryan Karakochuk summed up their season. " I t was great to get back on the field after a year layoff. It was nice to win the North again and we  were very close in Provincials and continue to make strides as far as the Provincials are concerned. The future is very bright with lots of players back for next year and we honored a fallen hero who needed us in Caleb Jansen."
