The Norman Northstars continue to play hard and are getting rewarded with more wins.

 

Norman swept the Interlake Lightning in a pair of games this past weekend in Thompson.

 

Norman won 3 to 2 on Saturday and picked up the 7 to 4 win yesterday.

 

Flin Flon's Nolan Rideout assisted on the winning goal on Saturday and Magnus Pearson had a goal yesterday.

 

Brady Krentz led the way with a hat-trick yesterday and now has 35 points on the season including 13 goals.

 

With the two wins on the weekend, the Northstars have climbed into 9th overall at 6-10-3 and are just 1 point behind 8th place Yellowhead.

 

They are back on the road this weekend with two games in Kenora and 1 game against Eastman.
