Cal Schell is off to an incredible start to the season and has been awarded for his fine play.

The Bombers announced on their website that Schell has been named the Shaw Communications Player Of The Month for both September and October.

Schell picked up his 9th win of the season on Friday, shutting out the Yorkton Terriers 2-0 for his league leading third shutout of the year.

Cal is putting up staggering numbers with a 2.25 GAA and a .932 save %.

Schell is among the top goalies in the SJHL this season in minutes played, GAA and wins.
