The Norman Northstars are showing everybody that they will be no push over this year in the Manitoba Midget Triple A League.
Norman played extremely well playing both the Winnipeg teams on the road this past weekend.
The Northstars dropped a 7 to 4 game against the Thrashers on Friday before losing in OT 3 to 2 on Saturday.
Yesterday Norman got the game to a shoot out against the Wild, before dropping a 4 to 3 decision.
Leading scorer, Brady Krentz had a productive weekend adding 6 points including 2 goals. He leads the team with 19 points so far this season.
Flin Flon's Magnus Pearson added one assist.
After the weekend, Norman's record stands at 2-8-2 and they are back on the road again this Friday with a pair of games against Pembina Valley and Interlake.
