Kodiaks Close Out Season With Another Impressive Win

The Creighton Kodiaks wrapped up the regular season yesterday in the Northern Saskatchewan Football League  with another impressive win as they rolled over Ahtahkakoop 67 to 8.

 

This game was never in doubt as the Kodiaks stormed on to the field and led 51 to 0 after the first quarter. They made it 57 to 0 at the half.

 

Head Coach, Ryan Karakochuk was true to his word and gave all his players a chance to play in the second half and the Kodiaks tried a few different things scoring 10 more points for the 67 to 8 win.

 

Among the highlights was a Carson Straile 50 yard receiving TD and Noah Olivier an interception return for a TD.

 

Olivier also ran for three more touchdowns, and Myles Patterson scored two touchdowns, one in the air and the other on the  ground.

 

The Kodiaks will finish the regular season at 3-1 and will host Cumberland House in the Northern Final next Saturday at 2 at the Creighton Field.

 

With the Kodiaks finishing first in their Conference they will also automatically host the first game of Provincials the following Saturday also at 2 at the Creighton Field.
