Kodiaks Will Finally Play Home Opener

This is a day the Creighton Kodiak football team has been waiting well over a year for, their much awaited home opener.

After losing all of last season to Covid and their first two games wiped out this year, the Kodiaks were given the green light to get back on their home field today.

Creighton did get back on the field in Ahtahkakoop last week and had no problem finding the end zone winning handily 81-0.

Noah Olivier and Myles Patterson did much of the damage with 5  touch downs between them.

Cumberland House will come to Creighton today for a 4 pm kick off and their is lots riding on this game with the winner getting to host a playoff game.

The Kodiaks are 1-1 as they were forced to forfeit their first game against Sandy Bay. Cumberland is 2-0.

A big crowd is expected for today's game.
