The battle of Northern Manitoba will take place this weekend with a home and home as the Flin Flon Bombers will tangle with the MJHL’S OCN Blizzard.

 

Tonight the two teams will hook up at the Roy H. Johnston Arena in The Pas with puck drop at 7 and the rematch tomorrow at the Whitney Forum at 7:30.

 

Head Coach Mike Reagan talks about what type of a line – up we can expect to see from them tonight.

“ We will insert some veterans with a bunch of rookies as we are only a week through training camp and I think it is important to get some veterans in especially since they didn’t play at all last year. They are chomping at the bit to get in the line up and we have three games in three nights. We are not going to play guys three straight so there will be a lot of juggling as we want to be healthy going into the regular season.”

 

This will be just the second pre-season game for the Bombers who dropped a 2-0 decision to Laronge on Sunday.

OCN has split two games with  Swan Valley including a 6 to 2 win  on Wednesday.
