Buffalo Returns To The Bombers

A former Flin Flon Bomber goalie stand out is returning to the organization for the 2021-22 season as the team's new goalie coach.

 

Devin Buffalo, who starred for the Bombers in the mid 2000's is returning to Northern Manitoba and Saskatchewan.

 

Head Coach and GM. Mike Reagan made the announcement on social media today. “We are very excited to bring Devin back as our goalie coach. His experience playing at a high level and earning a Division I scholarship as a Bomber will greatly benefit our players and organization. Devin is very well respected and knows what it means to be a Bomber. Welcome back Buff!”

 

Buffalo played three seasons with the Bombers between 2011-14 and was the SJHL Rookie Of The Year in 2011.

 

Devin played in 105 games with the Bombers and had an incredible .940 save % in his final season which helped him get an NCAA  scholarship to Dartmouth.

 

Buffalo continued to shine in college and was nominated for the Hobey Baker Award for the top player in college hockey in the US in 2018.

 

The Bombers also announced some additions to their scouting staff with the additions of Mitch Van Teeling and Travis Baber.

 

Mitch will cover Southern Ontario and Travis a former captain of the Dauphin Kings will assist Head Scout Jon Klassen in Saskatchewan.
