Former CFAR Broadcaster Enters The CFL Hall Of Fame

The Canadian Football League unveiled their latest list of players and builders who will be entering the 2021 Hall Of Fame.

 

The announcement came Monday and former CFAR broadcaster Bernie Pascall will be inducted in the media category.

 

Pascall worked for CFAR between 1957 and 1960 where he was the play by play announcer for the historic Flin Flon Bombers.

 

After leaving CFAR in 1960, Pascall made the jump to television at CHAT- TV in Medicine Hat. He would also work for CJAY- TV in Winnipeg and CFTO-TV in Toronto.

 

His big move came in 1969 when he made the jump to BCTV in Vancouver where he became a commentator and reporter on the CFL telecasts for CTV.

 

Pascall  would help select the CFL Schenley Awards and has won numerous awards for covering many sports, is a member of several halls and is a trustee on the BC  Football Hall Of Fame.
