A Busy Night For Cal Schell

The Laronge Ice Wolves fired all kinds of rubber last night at Cal Schell and upended the Bombers 6 to 2 at the Mel Hegland Uniplex in Laronge.

Laronge fired 56 shots at the veteran goaltender out of Burlington Ontario enroute to their second straight pre-season win over the B'S.

Liam McGarva was steady at the other end of the ice stopping 34 out of 36.

Easton Haygarth and Connor Jennings scored their first goals of the pre season, with Haygarth scoring short handed and Jennings finding the back of the net on the PP.

Rhett Rhinehard and Justin Lies have been re-assigned from their WHL teams and made their Bomber debuts last night. Lies is a home town kid who plays with the Vancouver Giants and Rhinehard's dad, Dwayne played for the Bombers in the early 90's.

Laronge got goals from six different players including veterans Aaron Greyeyes and Spencer Kennedy as they now lead the pre-season series two games to one.

These two teams will meet one more time in the pre-season this Saturday at the Whitney Forum.

Tickets will be available at the Bomber office today between 4:30 and 7 and will be sold on a first come first serve basis with only 150 tickets available.

You can also catch all the action on 102.9 CFAR and flinflononline.com with the Great North GM Coach's Show at 7:15.
