The Flin Flon Bombers took care of one of their needs heading into the Jan 10th trade deadline with the acquisition of 18 year old goaltender Cal Schell.

Schell suited up for the Surrey Eagles of the BCHL this past season and had a gaa of 3.76 and a save % of .892.

Schell is from Burlington Ontario and played last year in the GOJHL with the Hamilton Kilty B'S, where he put up very good numbers including a gaa of 2.14 and a save % of .922.

"We love the fact that he's 6'3 and takes up a lot of the net. Also that he was the top goaltender in a very credible league last season. We believe that the tandem of Delorme and Schell will work well together and push each other to be better." - Mike Reagan
