26 games into the Manitoba Midget Triple A season, the Norman Northstars have picked up their first win of the season.

 

Norman was hosting the Kenora Thistles in a pair of games and looked like they may get the win on Saturday.

 

The Northstars had a two goal lead, up 5 to 3 entering the third when Kenora mounted the three goal come back to stun Norman 6 to 5.

 

The Northstars would not be denied on Sunday and came out with their best effort of the season and a solid 6 to 1 win.

 

It was a game that Flin Flon's Blake Lahonen won't forget as he picked up his first career hat-trick.

 

Jordan Pfoh picked up a goal and four assists and now has 19 points in 25 games.

 

The North Stars will hit the road for three games starting Friday in Yellowhead, before going on their Christmas break.
