MBCI out of the Pas hosted JV Volleyball Zones this past weekend with teams from all over the North competing including the Hapnot Kings and Queens.

 

Both teams played well coming up a little bit short in their quest for Zone banners.

 

The Queens beat both Cross Lake and Easterville in the round robin and then beat Moose Lake in the semi final.

 

This put the Queens in the final against MBCI out of the Pas and they lost a close game two sets to one to finish second.

 

The Kings also won both their round robin games over Grand Rapids and Norway House. They would play The Pas in the semi's and lost two sets to none.

 

MBCI then went on to capture the boy's zone beating Moose Lake in the final two sets to none.

 

The volleyball season also came to an end for the Senior Creighton Kodiak girls who were in Lanigan for Regionals.

 

They lost both their games to Punnichy and Canora but played well and had a good season.
