Kodiaks Impressive In Regular Season Finale

The Creighton Kodiaks rolled over the Pinehouse Lakers by a score of 74 to 12 yesterday at the Creighton Field to wrap up the Northern Saskatchewan Football season.

Aidan Collard scored a touch down on the opening drive and the Kodiaks never looked back as they were able to play every single player in their final tune up game before the playoffs.

Myles Patterson had a big afternoon scoring three td's with other majors coming Evan Madarsh and Austin McLean who both had two. Single td's came from Haiden Lengyel and Caleb Janzen.

The Kodiaks were also good on defense forcing three turn overs on interceptions.

Creighton will finish the regular season, second in their division at 3-1 and will host Sandy Bay in the first round of the playoffs next Wednesday. Kick off will be at 4.

Cumberland will play Pinehouse in the other semi-final with the two winners moving on to Prince Albert for the Ralph Pilz Trophy on Saturday October the 19th.
