Broncos In For Two

After a 5 day break the Flin Flon Bombers will swing back into action tonight with a pair of games against the Humboldt Broncos.

The Bombers had a successful debut weekend beating Laronge in a pair of games, out scoring them 9-3.

Humboldt will come to town in search of their first win after dropping a pair of games against Notre Dame.

Normally the Bombers and Broncos only play 4 times a year, but this season they will meet 6 times with 5 of the meetings before Christmas.

The Broncos play the Bombers well and have beaten them 11 out of the last 16 meetings and have even been tough for Flin Flon at the Whitney Forum.

Humboldt is one of the youngest teams in the league with only 7 players returning from last year's squad, but do possess a pretty good first line with Logan Foster,Tristan Shewchuk and Zach McIntire.

Scott Barney is back behind the bench and the team really pulled it together the second half of last year,  when he took over in late December.

Flin Flon is led by their top line of Houle, Rafuse and Malo who have scored 8 of the 9 team's goals so far.

Houle,  has 5 of them him self and has looked very good since training camp and will be one of the most dangerous forwards in the league this year.

Veteran goalie Jacob Delorme looks impressive and made some real timely saves in both starts against Laronge.

Game time both nights is 7:30 , and you can catch Saturday's game on 102.9 CFAR and flinflononline.com with the Great North GM Coach's Show at 7:10.
