Kodiaks Prevail In Home Opener

 

The Creighton Kodiaks 6 man football team started quickly and controlled the entire game with an impressive 43-9 win over Sandy Bay yesterday.

 

The Kodiaks win their home opener and improve to 2-0 on the season.

 

Quarterback Blake Alexander ran in from the 15 yard line on their first possesion to give the Kodiaks a quick 6-0 lead.

 

Creighton also got majors from Brady Carmichael, Austin McLean,Myles Patterson and Evan Madarash.

 

The defense also got three turn overs and didn't allow Sandy Bay to ever really get going on offense holding them to a single touch down late.

 

The Kodiaks will now prepare for their biggest game of the season as they will travel to Cumberland House next Wednesday to take on the defending champs.

 

Kick off will be at 4 MB time.
