The Midget CO-OP Bombers squared off the first place Thompson King Miners this past weekend at the Whitney Forum in Norman Midget AA action.

 

Thompson took the first game Saturday  5-4. Flin Flon goals came from Cree Nicholas (2), Blake Alexander and Chayce Busby.

 

Damon Constant scored a hat trick as the Bombers rebounded on Sunday for a 4-2 win. Sean Yaworski had the other Flin Flon goal.

 

This was just Thompson's second loss of the year.

 

The Bombers improve to 14-7-0-1 and head to Cross Lake and Norway House for a pair of games this weekend.

 

 

The Norman Northstars dropped a pair of games to the Yellowhead Chiefs by scores of 11-2 and 9-2.

 

Flin Flon's Morgan Beauchamp and Blake Lahonen both had 1 assist.

 

Norman will fall to 6-31-0-1-1 on the season and will host Southwest this weekend.
