It was a great weekend for the CO-OP Midget AA Bombers who hit the road for a pair of games.

 

Saturday the Bombers took it to the winless Norway House Northstars 9-1. Blake Alexander led the way with 3 points.

 

On Sunday the Bombers knocked off the first place Cross Lake Islanders 8-5 with Damon Constant scoring a pair of goals. Other goals came from Blake Alexander, Thunder Ballantyne, Chayce Busby, Jeritt Cowley, Cree Nicholas and Sean Yaworski.

 

The Bombers continue to move up the standings at 5-4 and are only 3 points behind Cross Lake for first place overall. Flin Flon will travel to Thompson this weekend.

 

Another tough weekend for the Norman Northstars who dropped a pair of games to the first place Winnipeg Wild by scores of 7-1 and 10-1, Saturday and Sunday.

 

The Northstars slip to 2-20 and are back on the road this weekend starting, Friday in Pembina Valley.
