The Norman Northstars kicked off the Manitoba Midget Triple A Hockey season on the weekend with a three game road trip.

Goals were tough to come by as Norman dropped all three games to Brandon 6-0, Yellowhead 3-0 and Parkland 5-2.

Flin Flon's Jordan Pfoh did have one assist and Rylan Potkonjak started the two games against Yellowhead and Parkland playing very well stopping 69 out of 77 shots.

The Northstars will play their home opener against the Winnipeg Bruins this weekend at the CA Nesbit Arena, with games Saturday and Sunday afternoon.
