Congratulations to Creighton's Lauren Fox who battled mother nature in North Battleford this past weekend to win the Saskatchewan High School Athletics Provincial Championship in golf.

 

Fox placed second in the province last year but wouldn't be denied this time winning by 6 strokes over her nearest competitor.

 

Snow was a big faktor but that didn't stop Fox from firing an 85 in the first round and an 86 in the second round to take home the banner and Gold Medal.

 

Creighton's Blake Alexander competed for the boys and he shot a total score of 191 to finish 44th overall.
