Thompson will host the 2018 Manitoba Winter Games sponsored by Manitoba Hydro starting Sunday.

Flin Flon will be well represented in gymnastics, including the coach Casey Ranks and 4 athletes who are Shayna Mucha, Navea Simard, Grace Dubinak and Shonte Church. This will be the third Manitoba Games for Ranks who is going for the second time as a coach and competed once as an athlete.

Grace Dubinak has been chosen the flag bearer for team Norman.

Justin Lies and Joie Simon will also represent Norman in Bantam Hockey.

Opening Ceremonies will take place Sunday and the games will take place til Saturday March the 10th.
