Hapnot hosted Curling Zones this past Friday and Saturday at the Uptown Curling Club, with 4 girls teams and 4 boys teams.

 

Hapnot No.1 took the Girl's Zone with a 8-3 win over RD Parker No. 2 in the championship final. Hapnot No. 1 finished 4-1, while RD Parker No.2 was 3-2 , Hapnot No.2 finished 0-4 with RD Parker No.1 going 2-2.

 

In the Boy's,  MBCI No.1 took the zone with a convincing 8-0 win over Gillam in 5 ends. Final standings MBCI No.1 5-0, Gillam 4-1, MBCI No.2- 2-2 and MBCI No. 3, 0-4.

 

The Queens and MBCI out of the Pas will now represent the north at Provincials coming up  February the 23rd and 24th in Winkler. The Queens are represented by Kalena Kittle- Skip, Chloe Reitlo-Second, Ryan Nawrocki-Third and Hannah Baynton- Lead.

 

A big thanks to the Uptown Curling Club, for letting these high school teams curl this past weekend.
