Wolves go 1-3

The Norman AAA Bantam Wolves wrapped up another road trip yesterday with an 8-3 loss to the Southwest Cougars .

 

Goals came from Flin Flon's Justin Lies, Chase Bertholet  from the Pas, and Clark Scadden from Thompson.

 

The Wolves also dropped a 7-2 game to Parkland and lost 8-2 to Pembina Valley, with their one win coming against the Winnipeg Sharks 6-2.

 

It was a very good weekend for Justin Lies who picked up 4 goals and leads the Wolves with 32 in 30 games and sits fifth overall in points with 51. Chase Bertholet sits third with 60.

 

Norman's record will slip to 6-24-0-0-2 and return to Thompson this weekend to face Pembina Valley.

 

The Norman Northstars were also on the road and picked up their first road win of the season when they beat Eastman 5-4 on Friday in OT.

 

Mikey Baron had the OT winner. Norman lost their two other games to the Winnipeg Bruins 13-3 and Interlake Lightning 7-3.

 

Flin Flon's Mitchell Reid and Jordan Pfoh both had a goal and an assist over the weekend with Freddie Ledoux also adding a goal.

 

The Northstars sit at 3-30-0-0-1 and hit the road for another three games starting Friday in Brandon.
