Flin Flon Minor Hockey will host their first tournament of the year this weekend. The Whitney Forum and Sportex will play host to the Mel Pearson Memorial Novice Tournament starting Friday.

Teams will be competing from Flin Flon, The Pas, OCN, Thompson, Norway House and Snow Lake.

Action starts Friday with the Flin Flon Fireman taking on the Pas Huskies Red, 1:30 at the Whitney Forum. Mckeens Trucking will play The Pas Huskies White, 1:45 at the Sportex.

Games will happen right through the weekend with the Medal games starting Sunday at 8:30. Championship Final is at 2:30.
