Norman Wolves Offense Comes Alive

This would have to go down as the best weekend in the Norman Bantam AAA Wolves history.

Norman hosted the Central Plains Capitals in a pair of games in OCN at the GLMC on Saturday and the Roy H Johnston Arena in the Pas this afternoon.

The Wolves had one win on the entire season entering the weekend but picked up back to back wins including an 11-8 victory earlier today.

Flin Flon's Justin Lies scored the first two goals of the game to pave the way to victory.

Lies had a hattrick on Saturday, and Chase Bertholet from the Pas picked up 7 points. Odin Church out of Flin Flon and Hayden Linklater from Peilican Narrows split the goaltending duties.

The Wolves improve to 3-13 on the season and will host the Southwest Cougars in Thompson December the second and third.

The Norman Northstars struggles continued on the weekend dropping a pair of games to Southwest 6-1 and 5-1.

Thompson's Jamie Valentino and Hunter Rambow from the Pas scored the goals. Flin Flon's Keian Weseen played goal on Saturday stopping 42 out of 47 shots.

The Northstars fall to 0-18-0-0-1 and hit the road for three starting Friday against Eastman.
