Hapnot Volleyball Roundup

It was a very busy and successful weekend for all the Hapnot Volleyball teams.

The Senior Queens were in Virden and they finished 6-2 in the round robin, to get a second place ranking.

The Queens moved on to the playoffs and lost a tough 3 set game to Dauphin. This would drop them to the B-side where they beat Wawanesa and Wawota, before losing the B-side final to Swam River 2 sets to none.

The Kings were in Rossburn and they went 4-2 in the round robin and beat Rivers in the semi's 2 sets to none. This put Hapnot in the final against Rossburn and they lost 2 sets to none to finish second.

Next up for the Senior teams will be the Neelin Dig in Brandon this weekend.

The JV Queens were in Winnipeg and they went 4-2 in the round robin and finshed second in their pool.

They beat Stonewall 2 sets to none to kick off the playoffs before losing to Sanford in the Semi Final. The Queens rallied to beat Altona to finish third overall.

What makes this even more impressive was that Hapnot beat a lot of AAA teams, and the JV Queens are a AA team.
