Reagan Named Coach For Canada West

Congratulations to Flin Flon Bomber Head Coach and GM Mike Reagan who will be the Head Coach for Canada West at this year's World Junior A Challenge in Truro Nova Scotia.

 

Reagan  is entering his 12th season as Head Coach and GM with the Bombers and is the Bombers winningest coach in the team's history including two trips to the league final the past two seasons.

 

This is Reagan's  third opportunity to work with Canada West as he was an Assistant Coach last year and he was the Video Coach when they won Gold in 2015.

 

Reagan will be joined by Joe Martin, Head Coach and GM of the Merrit Centennials of the BCHL, Rick Swan Head Coach and GM of the Bonnyville Pontiacs of the AJHL and  Derek Sweet Coulter the Head Coach and GM of the English River Miners of the SIJHL.

 

The tournament will take place December the 10th to the 16th in Truro Nova Scotia.

 

Flin Flon will host OCN in the second installment of the Battle of Northern Manitoba tonight at the Whitney Forum starting at 7:30. Twin Motors will award the winning team $2500.00 and a trophy.

 

This year's battle will be decided with a goals for and against and will move to a best of three next year.

Last night's game against Laronge which was postponed due to  Highway 106 being closed will be made up this Monday at 7:30 as long as the road re-opens.
