Kodiaks Battle Hard

The Creighton Kodiaks 6 man football team finally got to play a football game yesterday in Laronge.

The Kodiaks last two games were postboned due to an unusual amount of snow in early October. Creighton was supposed to host a game yesterday, but due to the condition of the Creighton field travelled to Laronge  instead.

Creighton suited up against one of the top teams in their division the Churchill Chargers and had their best effort of the season.

Churchill had scored well over 200 points in their previous 3 games and the Kodiaks battled them right to the end.

The Chargers took the game 38-18, but the Kodiaks had plenty of opportunities to take this game yesterday.

The offensive highlights included a 50 yard run from Bailey Eastman and  two touchdown runs of 1 and 5 yards for Jordan Schanowski.

Creighton will drop to 0-3 on the season and will play one more home game next Wednesday when they host SMVS out of Laronge at 3 PM.

Churchill finishes the regular season at 3-1.
