It was a tough way for the Norman Northstars to kick off the Manitoba Midget AAA hockey season this past weekend.

Norman lost 3-0 to Pembina Valley yesterday and also dropped a 9-1 decision to the Winnipeg Thrashers and a 9-3 setback against Central Plains.

Flin Flon's Ethan Stuckless did score one of Norman's 4 goals on the weekend.

The Northstars will play at home for the first time this year hosting Eastman in a pair of games Saturday and Sunday in Thompson.
