It has been quite the season for Alex Smith who has received a number of Player Of The Week Awards, Has been chosen A Player Of The Month and now leads the league in scoring with 69 points in 44 games.

Alex and the Flin Flon Bombers received some great news yesterday that Alex has accepted a   scholorship to Michigan Tech for a full ride for the next 4  years to play under former Flin Flonner Mel Pearson JR.

I caught up to Alex today and we discussed everything from his trade from the AJHL to the great success that he and his team are having today and his thoughts on his scholorship and hockey future.
