Bombers Face Broncos

The Flin Flon Bombers travel to the Elgar Peterson Arena to battle the Humboldt Broncos for the third time this season.

The season series is tied at 1-1 with the Bombers beating the Broncos in a shoot out the last time they played in Humboldt October the 27th. The shoot out went 12 rounds before Michael Knaub scored the winner.

Flin Flon is fresh off taking 3 out of 4 points against the Melfort Mustangs and enter tonight's game with 7 days rest.

Humboldt have lost 2 in a row and have only won 2 of their last 10 games.

Both teams really struggle to put the puck in the net, with Humboldt only scoring 50  times in 21 games the worst in the league. The Bombers aren't much better with 54 goals in 19 games.

To think that tonight will be another low scoring affair, would be a pretty good prediction.

Goaltending should be a big part of the game with Flin Flon's Zac Robidoux the reigning SJHL goalie of the week. Robidoux seems to be getting more comfortable all the time and his numbers are getting better with a save % of .912 and a .gaa of 2.93.

Brett Clark  has been very good for the Broncos registering all 6 victories to go along with a save % of .913 and a .gaa of 2.94.

You can join  Clark Stork for all the action on 102.9 CFAR and flinflononline.com starting with the Murray GM Coach's Show at 7:15, drop of the puck at 7:30.
