The goaltenders stole the show as the Flin Flon Bombers wrapped up a 4 game in 5 night road trip this past Saturday at Cresent Point Place in Weyburn.

Flin Flon's Zac Robidoux stopped 43 out of 46 Wing shots, while his counterpart Jack Burgart stopped 38 out of 39 Bomber shots as Weyburn picked up the 3-1 win.

The Bombers came in with strong momentum after knocking off Estevan 5-2 the night before on a 4 goal performance from Alex Smith.

Smith was the only Bomber to beat Burgart on Saturday as he scored a short handed goal early in the second period, his 8th of the season. Flin Flon had a strong third period, outshooting Weyburn 18-12 but couldn't get any closer.

The Bombers come home with a split, and anytime you can play 500 hockey on the road you have to be happy. Points are tough to come by in this league, and 4 games in 5 nights is especially tough.

After the road trip Flin Flon sits third in the Sherwood AT 5-9-0-3, tied with Laronge at 13 points and both teams have played 17 games.

Next up is a home and home with the defeding league champion Melfort Mustangs, this Wednesday at the Whitney Forum, back in Melfort Thursday.
