Congratulations to former Flin Flonner Ashton Sautner who signed an entry level contract with the Vancouver Canucks on Friday.

Sautner is the captain in his 20 year old season and has picked up 48 points in 69 games. Among his career highlights was a Memorial Cup in 2014.

If the Oil Kings get bounced out of the playoffs, Sautner will join their AHL affiliate in Utica. The defenseman was born in Flin Flon and now calls Flaxcombe SK his home.
