The Senior Hapnot Kings picked up their 4th straight Zone basketball Championship this past weekend in Thompson and continued their dominance of the sport in Northern Manitoba.

The Kings went undefeated and had to come from behind in the final to beat The Pas. Hapnot was down 17-3 after the first quarter, but put it together and went on an impressive run and ended up beating MBCI 48-33.

Hapnot will represent the North in Provincials, coming up in Morden March the 21st and 22nd.

The Hapnot Queens went 1-2, and put up a valiant effort losing to The Pas 26-22 in the Semi.

RD.Parker out of Thompson took the Girls Zone, and continue to be a power house, and are one of the top ranked teams in the Province.
