The Norman Northstars wrapped up their season this past weekend , with a valiant effort against one of the best teams in the Manitoba Midget AAA , the Brandon Wheat Kings.

The Northstars dropped both games in Thompson by scores of 6-3 and 3-2, to finish up with a record of: 5-38-1 and will not make the playoffs.

Despite a tough year, Thompson's Bryce Horning led his team in scoring with 29 goals and 12 assists for 41 points in 38 games. Horning finished third overall in the league for goals and 23rd in total points.

Three players were on this year's squad from Flin Flon including Willy Eikel who ended up with 5 points(2 goals and 3 assists). Ethan Stuckless 2 points(1 goal and 1 assist), and Riley Nowlin who had 4 points all assists.
