The Hapnot Queens were in Winnipeg this past weekend for the Transcona Optimist Classic senior girls basketball tournament.

The Queens faired very well going 2-1 to take third spot.

Hapnot beat Transcona 50-33 to open the tournament before losing to Windsor Park 49-48 in the semis. Windsor Park won it on a last second 3 pointer.

The Queens came back to beat the Gray Academy 52-50, the no.9 ranked team in the province to finish third.
