The Norman Northstars saw their first action of 2015, with a pair of games against the best team in the Manitoba Midget AAA Leauge the Winnipeg Wild.

Winnipeg took it to Norman in Thompson this weekend by scores of 9-1 and 8-2 Saturday and Sunday afternoon.

A couple of bright spots saw Bryce Horning score a couple more goals to give him 25 on the season, and Flin Flon's Willy Eikel also picked up an assist.

With a record of 4-28, Norman will hit the road for three games starting Friday against the Winnipeg Thrashers.
