The high school basketball season will officially kick off with a pair of tournaments this weekend.

 

MBCI out of The Pas is hosting the Boys Spartan Tip Off Tournament with teams competing out of The Pas, Dauphin, Swan River, Cross Lake, Flin Flon and Creighton.

 

Creighton will play the Pas at 3, and Dauphin at 9 PM on Friday.

 

Hapnot will play Cross Lake at 7:30 Friday and Swan River at 9AM on Saturday.

 

Playoffs start Saturday at noon, with the Championship Final at 1:30.

 

 

The Creighton Kodiak Girls will be in Nipawin this weekend for the L.P. Miller Bears Tournament.

 

The Kodiak's face PA in their first game Friday at 7:30PM.  If they win they will play Saturday at 1PM. If they lose they play Saturday at 10AM.

 

Championship Go's Saturday at 7PM.
