Norman Continues To Struggle

The Norman Northstars are still in search of their first win of the season after dropping a pair of games to the Interlake Lightning this past weekend.

 

It was Norman's home opener weekend.

 

Interlake won on Saturday 6-2, and followed that up with a 9-0 win on Sunday.

 

Thompson's Michael Marcus and Evan Lutz scored Norman's only goals  and saw their record drop to 0-5 to open up the Manitoba Midget AAA hockey season.

 

Norman will now hit the road for 7 straight games including a 3 game road trip this weekend, when they take on the Winnipeg Wild  Friday, Southwest Saturday and Parkland Sunday.

 

The Northstars will not be home till the weekend of November the 1st and 2nd.

 

There was a moment of silence for former Northstar Teagan Quinn , before Saturday's game.
