In front of a packed gym at Hapnot Collegiate this past weekend, the JV Queens did not disappoint the home town crowd as they breezed to another Zone Basketball title.
The Queens beat both Cranberry and Split Lake handily to book their spot in the final.
The Queens would meet up with MBCI out of The Pas and once again were impressive winning the Zone batter with a convincing 67 to 19 victory.
Hapnot will now represent the North at Provincials the weekend of March the 12th to the 14th in Gladstone.
JV Boy's Zones took place in Cranberry this past weekend.
The Hapnot Kings lost both their round robin games to Cranberry and Cross Lake. The Kings did win their last game against Split Lake 69 to 61 to finish fifth.
The host FCI Raiders took the Zone Banner with an exciting 88 to 78 win over MBCI out of The Pas in the final.
Cranberry will now represent the North in Boy's Provincials the weekend of March the 12th to the 14th in Carman.
