The 33rd annual Cranberry Trout Challenge wrapped up on Sunday afternoon with over 40 boats taking part in the biggest fish derby in the North.

 

It was fitting that a duo from Cranberry came in first as Barrett Anderson and Kori McCallum were the top team this year and win $65,00.00.

 

Rosvold and Wolters came second followed by another Cranberry duo in Barry Anderson and Gord Fidierchuk coming third, the Flin Flon duo of Joey Hancock and Trevor Thurston came fourth with the Matheson's, Sheryl and Chis rounding out the top 5.

 

Other highlights included the Candace Danielson Memorial Award for the female with the largest trout- Sheryl Matheson.

 

Leslie Smith Memorial Award for the youngest angler with the biggest fish-  Cameron Murray.

 

Cam McLean Memorial Smoked Fish winners- first- Ryan Roberts, second- Ted Smith and Wayde Roberts.
