The 2023 Golden Gals Provincial Curling  Championships will start this Thursday in Virden and Flin Flon will be well represented.

 

The Lorna Rice rink is the defending champions after winning last year's event right here in Flin Flon. The rink consist's  of Skip- Lorna Rice, Third- Denise Davis, Second-Edna Smith and Lead- Della Chilson.

 

The Rice rink automatically qualifies for this year's event so Flin Flon will get to send another rink. The other team is the McNeill rink. Skip- Debbie  McNeill, Third-Sandra Chatfield, Second- Yvonne Davis and Lead- Shirley Miller.

 

The bonspiel starts Thursday and go's right throughout the weekend til Sunday. We will have updates throughout the event  on 102.9 CFAR.
