After a long week at Chief Thunderstick National Championship in Saskatoon the PBCN Selects have added 2005 Forward Mathis Bacon-Labbé .

 

Bacon-Labbé was assistant captain this past season for his AA Midget team that won the Provincial Championship in Quebec. He was limited to 17 games due to injury and netted 15 points.

 

Bacon-Labbé played with his home reserve at the Freddy where Selects Director of scouting Nelson Cote Spotted him. “Bacon-Labbé was spotted playing against a very strong PBCN Stars team. Bacon - Labbé had a strong game I was impressed with his ability to get up and down the ice, and how he filled lanes, always having a good stick.” commented Cote in regards to the signing.

 

Bacon-Labbé is expected to arrive in early September and Selects main camp is scheduled for September 8-10.
