The Flin Flon Ski Club held their AGM last night and a number of awards were presented.

 

Charlotte Unrau placed second in the province in the U-12 Girls Sask Cup Ski Race Series.

 

Deakon Anaka placed first in the Province in the U-14 Boys category.

 

Deakon and Charlotte also both made the Northern Regional team that competed at the Saskatchewan Winter Games which were held in February.

 

The Ski Club also honored many long time members into their Honorary Hall Of Fame for many years of service.

 

The individuals who were recognized were: Gerry Clark, Dennis Whitbread, Susan Shair, Bill Fulford, Dean Grove and Dave Price.

 

All of these volunteers have contributed to the Ski Club in various capacities over the years and are a big reason why the Flin Flon Ski Club trails are considered to be the best in the world.
