The PBCN Selects kicked off 2023 with a OT win against the NCN Flames last night 5 to 4 at the Whitney Forum.

 

One of the Selects top scorers,  Dwayne McKenzie notched his 19th when he converted a pass from Freddy Ledoux to win it with just over a minute remaining in the extra period.

 

The Selects also got goals from the pride of Las Vegas, Dominic Suhr who scored his  fourth and fifth.

 

Tyler Bird and Caden Joanis also found the back of the net.

 

This was a big win for PBCN who were able to mount a comeback after falling behind 5 to 2.

 

The Selects are now 8-9-0-3 and trail the third place OCN  Storm by 11 points with two games in hand.

 

PBCN hits the road for a pair of games this weekend in Norway House on Saturday night and Sunday afternoon.
