Flin Flon hosted the 39th annual Golden Gals Provincial Curling Championships this past weekend.

 

12 teams took part from right across Manitoba including three local rinks.

 

Congratulations to the Lorna Rice rink who beat Norma Johnson from Dauphin in the final 9 to 4.

 

The Lorna rice rink team was made up of Lorna Rice- skip, Edna Smith, Denise Davis and Della Chilson.

 

The Sue Chrisp rink lost in the semi's and Dianne Burwash lost out going into the final 8.

 

Great job by the organizers who made all the teams feel welcome and put on a tremendous weekend.
